Fun Fact: Rats use their tails to regulate body heat, help themselves balance and communicating!

Fun Fact: They’re actually quite intelligent little critters. You can teach them their names and even tricks!

Fun Fact: Rats have a very strong wall between the esophagus and stomach making it physically impossible for a rat to forcefully expel food from his tummy (vomit).

Fun Fact: Rats are empathetic in a way. They can sense tension, fear and other negative emotions in the people who handle them so it's best to handle them when you are happy! :)

Fun Fact: Giant rats are trained to detect deadly landmines! They’re larger than pet rats, but small enough that they don’t set off the landmines while searching for them.
